Holds
We absolutely believe in Love at First Sight! Sometimes, you just look into his/her
eyes whether it be in person or just a photo and your cup runnith over with love...you
just have a feeling about it. We care about this instant bond and empathize with you
as it happens far too often that one will be looking for that special Fur Friend through
websites and postings in the Community and fall madly in love...only to find out that
he/she has already been adopted. This is why we created a HOLD policy.
Placing an Animal on “HOLD” while we process your Adoption Application, and if
necessary while we arrange for a “Meet & Greet”, will allow for us to list the Animal as
“Adoption Pending”. During this time, we will still accept other applications for that
particular Rescue Animal in the event you change your mind or in the event you do
not meet the specific needs for that Animal.
You may place an animal on hold by submitting payment deposit for half of the
Adoption Fee within the same hour that you submit your application.
Refundable
Your HOLD deposit is fully refundable should you decide not to adopt that specific
animal and you notify us in writing within 72 hours of receiving your application
approval notification. Once we receive cancel notification, your payment will be
promptly refunded. If you paid electronically using our deposit payment link through
PayPal, we will simple reverse the payment back to you. If you paid by cash, personal
check or money order, we will issue you a refund check within 3 business days.
Special consideration will be taken if you have not met that animal in person and we
are unable to arrange a “Meet & Greet” with you within the 72 hours after your
approval notification.
