You have heard about those rescue dogs that are incredibly loyal once they trust you-
well, that is me. I am one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet, you just have to give
me some time to fully trust you. I've been hurt in the past and I just want to make sure
I don't trust the wrong people again. I am not a fan of strangers, but once we become
friends, I will be your trusty companion, a protector, and your full time snuggle
monster. I have a big heart, gentle eyes, and an award-winning smile. I have a goofy
personality and I'll keep you smiling all the time.
I absolutely love to sit on the couch, head in your lap. In bed, I love to find those
crevices around your body where I will fit perfectly- and I will make sure to always
rest my head on you somewhere.
I love to be outside and I love it even more if you come outside with me and play
fetch! I even bring the ball back and everything (until I decide I want to tease you a
bit). Balls are my favorite toys- but I will play with any toy you give me. I will definitely
also play with you. We can make up games of chase and tag, I'll catch on quick and run
around trying to find you when you hide!
I know the difference between what is yours and what is mine, so I never chew up
your things. I'm fully potty trained and have never had an accident at my current
house. I am also a great listener and a fast learner, so we can tackle any obstacles
together!
I have my own kennel right now and do not mind going in it while you are away- but I
am also well behaved without it, so the choice is yours. I love food and am definitely
treat motivated (insider tip: that's also the best way to start helping me trust you-
start with treats, give me time to smell and be around you. Be gentle and patient with
me in the beginning and do not force it too early. However, once we are friends, you
can be yourself with me!)

*Prior to an adoption, all of our animals will have received a thorough Veterinary
exam, and received any treatment needed for any illnesses or injuries they may have
incurred prior to their Rescue. They have also been spayed or neutered, dewormed,
received all core vaccines and have been given Microchip IDs! Each animal has also
been receiving monthly flea/tick/heartworm/ear-mite preventatives. Each adoption
also comes with 30 days of Pet Health Insurance through 24PetWatch at no
additional cost.
